Privacy notice
Plain English, because the notice is short enough to read.
Effective September 6, 2026. Competitor Launch is operated by Michelle Perkins, sole proprietor, 12 Harbor Street, East Hampton, NY 11937.
What is collected
Two kinds of information are held.
- What you enter in the fit-check form, which is your work email, your brand website, the competitor website, your target market, and the decision you describe.
- Email correspondence between you and hello@competitorlaunch.com, including any brand pages, offers, or constraints you share for a brief.
The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability.
Why it is collected
To check whether a brief is a fit, confirm scope and a delivery date, deliver the work, answer questions after delivery, and keep records of the engagement.
How long it is kept
Intake submissions and correspondence are kept for 12 months after the last contact, then deleted. Records needed for bookkeeping or to resolve a dispute are kept as long as the law requires.
No sale of data
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with data brokers. It is not used to train any model. It may be handled by the ordinary service providers needed to run the business, such as email hosting, form hosting, and payment processing, under their own privacy terms.
Prospecting emails
Competitor Launch may email business contacts about the service. Every marketing email identifies the sender, includes a postal address, and carries an opt-out. An opt-out is honored within one business day across every sending tool and domain, and the address is added to a suppression list so it is not contacted again.
Your choices
Email hello@competitorlaunch.com to opt out of any email, to ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Requests are answered within one business day and completed as quickly as practical.
Changes
If this notice changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be sent to active clients by email.
